Robots, equipped with form-adaptable placement grippers, position individual fiber patches (plies) precisely onto complex tool shapes. It’s a fully automated process, as material is continuously cut from a tape feed, and it works with a broad range of prepreg and dry-fiber materials (carbon, glass, adhesives, and more).
