Cevotec at DAHER Innovation Tour Private Pitch Event 2016
Cevotec presents new Fiber Patch Placement system SAMBA as virtual reality preview at DAHER site, Nantes.
Following an invitation of global aerospace accelerator Starburst, Cevotec joined DAHER Innovation Tour Private Pitch Event on December 6, 2016. „It was a great pleasure to come in contact with a company like DAHER and to see, which developments are taking place in other start-ups“, reports Felix Michl, CTO of Cevotec.
Shortly before market launch SAMBA at JEC World 2017 (March 14-16, Paris), Michl presented the preforming system in a virtual reality environment. „Thus people have the opportunity to explore how this really innovating way of manufacturing complex 3D preforms works“, explains Michl. The virtual sneak preview was one of the attractions of the Nantes event. „Now we are eagerly awaiting to demonstrate the real SAMBA machine and the matching CAD-CAM software ARTIST STUDIO at JEC World“, says Michl.
