Welcome, Florian Weyrauch!

We are delighted to introduce Florian Weyrauch joining our cevoTeam in his role as Team Lead Application Development at beginning of August.

Florian brings 25 years of experience in the design, manufacturing, and processing of fiber-reinforced plastic in various positions for companies and research institutes, mainly within the automotive and aerospace industries. Before joining Cevotec, Florian signed as Head of Engineering at the tech start-up V-Carbon. Prior, he held several advanced engineering positions such as Project Engineer at Fritzmeier Composite, Program Manager Aerospace at Quickstep for the global aerospace R&D activities, and Project Manager at DLR Stuttgart for federal-funded projects in cooperation with the German aircraft industry. After finishing his Mechanical Engineering Studies at Darmstadt University, he started his career as Research Assistant with the topic of quality assurance and control of the resin injection molding process at the Institute of Composites (IVW) in Kaiserslautern.

“The patch placement process of Cevotec is unique, and it shows huge potential for exploring a variety of applications. Together with the spirit and dynamic of the team, I am looking forward to bringing Fiber Patch Placement to industrial application,” comments Florian.
