New user and data interfaces for SAMBA Systems

New user and data interfaces for SAMBA Systems

The new HMI for a smoother, more user-friendly experience

The Human Machine Interface (HMI) is the user interface for the operation of the machine, providing a graphical representation of the system and its main parameters.

We’ve given our HMI a fresh, user-friendly overhaul to enhance the experience for the machine users. With a more intuitive layout and simplified navigation, the new design helps operators efficiently monitor system status, modify production parameters, and interact with the system with ease. Our revamped interface offers a clearer view of the production process, making it easier to track progress and make real-time adjustments to ensure an efficient workflow.

The HMI improvements contain:

A new data interface for seamless integration of new and existing systems

The second system update we are excited to present is a new way of reading robot programs, generated fully automated in our ARTIST STUDIO software, into SAMBA production systems. We’re introducing the Machine Data Reader (MDR). This new standard interface allows seamless compatibility across different versions of robot programs exported from ARTIST STUDIO and different versions of the SAMBA system logic controller (PLC).

The MDR offers the following key advantages:

With each release, MDR undergoes the same stringent testing as ARTIST STUDIO to guarantee high performance and reliability.

What’s Next: Innovation and future updates

Our team continues to innovate, focusing on further improving your automation experience with our SAMBA systems. Expect more exciting updates and features soon.

Starting today, all new SAMBA systems will feature our updated HMI standard. If you’re using an older system and want to explore upgrade possibilities, we’d be happy to assist. Contact us to discuss how we can bring the latest features to your system.
